Stud welding
The arc starting of stud welding is controlled by the program. First, the screw contacts the workpiece. When the start button is pressed, the welder first provides a small current, and then the screw is lifted to establish an arc between the aluminum pole at the tip of the screw and the workpiece.
When the arc is established, the welding machine automatically enters into high current welding: the end of the stud begins to melt, and the molten pool is formed on the workpiece. The arc burning process is called welding arc stage. When the set welding time is reached, the arc is extinguished, and the stud is immersed in the bath under the action of external force (generally spring force). Enter the forging stage. Then, the bath is cooled and solidified naturally to complete the welding process.
