The color gradation of colored titanium depends on the thickness of the film and the principle of light dryness. The interference between the reflected light on the surface of the oxide film and the light reflected on the interface between the transparent oxide film and the metal forms various colors. This interference color changes with the thickness of the film, and presents different colors as the thickness of the film increases. It can present various colors such as blue, golden yellow, purple red, peacock blue, green, and gray in turn.
